Gumroad Dinner Tour

Gumroad is a platform that enables creators to easily sell and connect with their customers—think Etsy, but for digital products like e-books and tutorials.

Sahil, the CEO and founder, wanted to thank and celebrate his top creators in each of the major cities across the US, so that’s exactly what we did. We worked to cultivate a tour with the largest concentration of top-earning creators.

Each event was an intimate dinner with ~25 of the top creators within 50 miles of the major city. Dinner consisted of incredible food and the opportunity to share stories, experiences, and advice from people who understand the grind of being a creative.

My role

Beyond sourcing and pitching local restaurants to host at, Sahil entrusted me to coordinate all of the logistics.

Some of my responsibilities included:

Restaurant, flowers, and external AV reservation where necessary
Event registration pages creation and management for each location
Event promotion through email
Travel coordination including flights, hotels, transportation for our team, Sahil, and some attendees
Menu and swag design
Event facilitation and hosting
Creating project proposals
Managing budget and expense reporting
