CouchCon

When in-person events shut down in 2020, three companies came together to create the most comfortable virtual summit. Our first season boasted over 850 unique attendees over the course of a live two-day event hosted on Zoom.

As stores started to reopen later in the year, the second season was recorded and released afterwards to accommodate schedules.

Both seasons consisted of two days, three breakout tracks with three sessions each, plus fun intermissions.

My role

Once CouchCon was approved, we worked closely with the founding companies to execute.

Some of my responsibilities included:

Event registration page management
Full experience design for the virtual event
Assistance with virtual platform selection, management, and customization
Speaker and sponsor coordination, orientation, tech support, and instruction
Run-of-show creation and day-of management
Tech rehearsals and full event run-throughs
Attendee tech-support
