‍Building controls are sexy. At least, that’s what everyone at the AHR Expo believes.*

As building controls are PassiveLogic’s bread and butter, we participated in our industry’s largest trade show with two booths in 2023 and 2024.

For 2024, we purchased 600 LED panels and used these to build the booths and show custom content throughout the show.

My role

PassiveLogic believes in being scrappy, bold, and unique. On top of using the physicists, engineers, and designers who work on the tech as sales people, they’re also responsible for booth build and design. My role was to coordinate and polish everything.

Some of my responsibilities included:

Organizing and coordinating logistics for both booths, including transportation and delivery
Working with external vendors, including electricians, union laborers, trade show staff, printing vendors, and graphic designers
Onboarding 40+ booth staff through trainings leading up to trade show
Managing hotel and travel before arrival and on site
Overseeing and supporting on-site building of both the 20'x20' and 20'x40' booths
Coordinating marketing campaign surrounding event promotion
Supporting CEO prior to his speaking events
Ordering meals, swag, and other staff needs
Compiling expenses and submitted budget for next year
